I created this video for my MCOM 241 class. I interviewed Benjamin Barre about being a French minority. Benjamin said that he did face certain prejudice about being French. Most prejudice were about people assuming he was stuck up, and pompous because of his ethnicity.
Have you ever gone to the grocery store and walked by the seafood section feeling terrible? Me too! Every time I walk by that 1x1 box holding like 10 lobsters I feel so bad for them because they look so cramped and angry and deserve some happiness. So I took it upon myself to adopt one :) His name is sheldon and he cost me $10. I brought him to bens so he could play with Indie. She seemed a little confused and got super pist when Sheldon wouldn’t play back… I’m sure the fact that we kept his rubber bands on was the reason. Anyway he had a good time playing on the watered down floor and had a great hour of happiness! Then I got really hungry, and decided that since Sheldon had a limited life span away from the ocean anyway.. I should relieve him of his depressing (but happy for a moment) life and give him a quick way out to lobster heaven. So I grabbed Sheldon and threw him head first into a pot of boiling water… He was delicious. Anyway it was a great learning experience for all and I can’t wait to find out what animal we will adopt next :)
